Madam,

The Equal Opportunities Office is glad to invite you to visit Cisco on Monday morning 22nd April 2013 at EPFL Innovation Square.

Cisco is the worldwide leader and prime supplier of IP and telecom solution for the Internet, the Service Providers and the Enterprise markets.

With few hundreds employees based in the offices in Zurich, Rolle and at EPFL Campus, Cisco in Switzerland has expanded its activities and created an Engineering team who is delivering products not only for the local market but for a global distribution.

Take this unique opportunity to visit an industry and you will hear directly from the local Cisco employee what is their daily life, what they do, how they do and in particular:

• R&D: what is the engineer task to deliver a product? what are her/his responsibilities?
• Sales: what is a salesman in Cisco? how many jobs in the Sales organization?
• Services and Consulting: how services help the business? Why is this strategic area for Cisco?
• Management: what does the boss do? is she/he really useful and for what?
• Testimonials: former EPFL students will talk about their "jump" into Cisco and the industry

And also get information on the 2 open internships and a coming full time position.

If at least one question seems interesting to you: it is time to join!

The group size is large. This event will take place in English only.
At Cisco, the visit will last from 09:00 to around 13:15 – lunch offered to all participants by Cisco.

Hoping this visit would be of your interest, please register to Mrs. Josiane Pachoud, [email protected] , until Tuesday 16th April.
