Abstract: After giving a brief introduction on left symmetric algebras (LSAs), we discuss their appearence in generalized Virasoro algebra, which comes from the commutator $[e_p , e_q] = a e_p \star e_q - b e_q \star e_p$, $(a, b) \in {\mathbb R} \times {\mathbb R}^+$, $(p, q) \in {\mathbb Z}^2$, in a quasi-associative algebra. We also investigate its applications in geometry and physics.
