The purpose of the Novartis Foundation is to foster medical-biological science by means of financial support for research projects conducted at Swiss universities in the field of medicine and medically oriented biology/biochemistry.
The Foundation also funds a limited number of research fellowships abroad (e.g. postdocs) for advancement of the scientific education of young researchers (PhD/MD).
Deadline: 1st of February 2017, 15th of May 2017 and 1st of October 2017
Funding : up to CHF 60'000 (including social costs)
Duration : up to 12 months
