On the occasion of the disassembly of the exhibition "48 Swiss authors: from Conrad Gessner (1516) to Franz Schüle (1860)", the EPFL library is pleased to invite you to the meeting: Some swiss mathematicians over three centuries.
Here is a good opportunity to learn more on the Swiss mathematicians who have contributed to improve their discipline thanks to their work. Of course, history has not necessarily remembered their name, but, some of them are at the origin or have contributed to fundamental scientific and technological discoveries. This conference is an opportunity to discover or rediscover them.
Everyone is welcome, free admission. Meeting in french.
The same day: Journée Georges de Rham organised by The swiss Doctoral Program in Mathematics. On Wednesday February 20, 15h:15 at EPFL.
