The Swiss Foundation for Nutrition Research SFEFS supports researchers working in Switzerland with an emphasis on funding experimental or clinical studies or surveys to generate new nutritional knowledge in human nutrition.
Submission deadlines: Above CHF 10'000, deadline is 31.07.2017 (decision mid-November) ; applications up to CHF 10'000 can be submitted throughout the year (decision within 1-3 months)
Funding : May vary. Applications for funding parts of a larger research project can only be approved, if the project can be fully financed. The Foundation also supports continuing education of scientists at home or abroad to learn new methods or specific techniques. Furthermore, the Foundation contributes to publication costs to disseminate important new scientific knowledge.
Duration : 12 months. They are normally granted for a period of one year according to the guidelines of the Swiss National Science Foundation for Fellowships for prospective and advanced researchers working partime (50%).
