IEEE Student Branch at EPFL and Robopoly are proud to invite you to the Texas Instruments hands-on workshop about the "Internet of Things" (IoT).

• When/where
The workshop will take place the morning of the December 9th from 9:00 to 12:00 in BC08.

• What
One hour will be dedicated to an introduction to the Internet of things. Following this, a 2 hours hands-on using the CC3200 LaunchPad will take place. The SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3200 LaunchPad is an evaluation kit based on the CC3200 wireless microcontroller, a programmable ARM Cortex-M4 MCU with built in Wi-Fi connectivity. The LunchPad board will be offered to the participants after the workshop!

• Who
The workshop is open for master and PhD students. Since practical work will be performed, some per-requisites are required:
    o Experience with embedded systems and software debug
    o Good knowledge of the C programming language

The number of participants is limited to 25 people. If more than 25 people apply, preference will be given to IEEE and Robopoly members. Otherwise, the selection policy  is "first come, first served".
