Following important pollution problems due to the river’s canal system, Georges Descombes and the landscape architecture office ADR in Geneva defined an innovative method to recreate the natural course of this river, in a complex and very influential real estate and agricultural context. This exemplary project is being finalised today after seven years of «de-canalising» and revival of the natural habitat.
Nearing completion, the third part of the regeneration of this Genevan watercourse will enable the river to flow in its natural bed and within its own natural environment. Every stage of construction work will be described in detail in this exhibition created by the ADR office.
