The call targets projects that address <strong>inequities in access to care</strong>, develop <strong>evidence-based and scalable service models</strong>, and provide policymakers with <strong>practical tools</strong> to improve resource allocation and advance integrated care.<br>\r\n<br>\r\n<strong>Consortium Eligibility </strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>At least three eligible partners</strong> requesting funding from <strong>at least three different countries</strong> participating in the call.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>At least two partners</strong> must be legal entities from <strong>two different EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries</strong>.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>Maximum of nine</strong> funded partners in one consortium.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>No more than two</strong> funded partners may come from the same country.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<br>\r\nSwitzerland will participate in the call through two funding partner organisations<strong> SNSF</strong> and <strong>Innosuisse</strong>. Doctoral candidates are exposed to the academic and non-academic sector to develop competences for innovation and to enhance employability.<br>\r\n<br>\r\nThere are 3 sub schemes for the MSCA DNs:\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>Standard</strong> → PhD students must be enrolled for doctoral studies, the doctoral program includes secondments to project partners.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Industrial</strong> → PhD students must be enrolled for doctoral studies; they must spend 50% of their time in the non-academic sector.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Joint Doctorates</strong> → PhD students must be enrolled for doctoral studies which lead to a “joint doctoral degree”. EPFL can only participate if the following institutions (other than EPFL) participate in the project: ENS Lyon, UCLouvain and ETHZ.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<strong>Duration and Funding</strong><br>\r\nThe consortium applies for a project with a duration of 4 years (exception for Joint Doctorates, duration is 5 years). The financial contribution covers the salaries of doctoral candidates for the duration of 3 years (4 years for Joint Doctorates) and research, training and networking costs covering the whole project duration. One leading idea is that RNA played a central role because it can act both as genetic material and as a catalyst. A major challenge has been that known RNA polymerase ribozymes, the catalysts of RNA copying, are large and complex, making them difficult to copy and unlikely to arise from prebiotic RNA sequence pools.<br>\r\n<br>\r\nIn this seminar, Edoardo Gianni will present QT45, a compact 45-nucleotide RNA polymerase ribozyme discovered from random RNA sequence pools. QT45 can catalyse the two essential reactions required for RNA self-replication: the synthesis of itself and the synthesis of its complementary strand. This work suggests that RNA-copying activity may be more common in sequence space than previously thought. Dyson Professor of Pediatric Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a Professor of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School, an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the Associate Director for Basic Science at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.  He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Chicago.  During medical school, he did research at the Rockefeller University.  His postdoctoral fellowship was at the Whitehead Institute/Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<br>\r\n<br>\r\nThe Pellman Lab works on the mechanism of cell division and how certain cell division errors drive rapid genome evolution.  His research has contributed to the understanding of cell division, the origin of cell division errors in cancer, how cell division errors drive genetic instability and the mechanisms driving rapid evolution of cancer genomes.
