Which skills transfer naturally, which challenges emerge along the way, and how can scientists prepare for the shift?In recent years, multiparameter persistent homology (MPH) has been developed to address the limitations of traditional single-parameter persistence. While much progress has been made on the theoretical aspects of MPH, practical applications have mostly been limited to the special case of two parameters. Building on recent developments in the computation of MPH in more than two parameters, we propose and implement a new algorithm for the computation of multiparameter persistence landscapes in this setting. We apply this work to compute landscapes of three-parameter persistence modules built on spatiotemporal data arising in biology.

In this talk, we outline its proof using Eisenstein and theta series. We then discuss the challenges of formalizing this proof in the Lean 4 proof assistant, using an algebraic strategy to derive the key dimension bound for the relevant space of modular forms from the valence formula for the full modular group.

The poster session will highlight their deep learning models designed to identify and address hate speech across a variety of online content.

\r\nThe group projects tackle online hate in its diverse forms, ranging from text to images, memes, videos, and audio content. With the objective of creating healthier online interactions, the students designed their models to prioritize both accuracy and a nuanced understanding of context in order to distinguish between genuinely harmful hate speech and legitimate critical discourse or satirical expression.

\r\nThe development of these deep learning models aims to prevent the proliferation of hateful rhetoric, ultimately contributing to a more respectful online environment where diverse voices can coexist and thrive.
