Laboratories consume large amounts of energy, generate substantial quantities of plastic, chemical, and biological waste, and contribute considerably to greenhouse gas emissions. At EPFL, we are committed to understanding and reducing this impact. Through the development and deployment of the <strong>EPFL CO₂ Calculator</strong>, we help researchers measure, understand, and improve the environmental performance of their activities.<br>\r\n<br>\r\nFrom <strong>October 8 to December 17, 2026</strong>, the <strong>Sustainable Labs: Get Involved</strong> sessions will focus on training and supporting users in the use of the <strong>EPFL CO₂ Calculator</strong>.
