Transversal Skills and Career Centre (CCTC) invites you to attend a special evening event with keynote speaker Sarah Blackford and discuss academic careers and research pathways in academia and in industry.
The event will take place on 24th March 2025, starting at 17:15 in BC 420.
This event brings a unique opportunity to discuss academic careers of today and tomorrow, highlights the bottlenecks, opportunities and diversity of academic career options. This event is targeted to postdocs and PhDs but also professors working in research labs, those working with industrial and external partners, as well as EPFL services supporting researchers through their professional development.
Sarah Blackford is a career specialist, known for her counselling and research on academic career pathways, particularly for PhD candidates and postdocs. Her keynote will be paired with a panel of EPFL voices with representatives of postdoc and PhD communities, as well as opinions from EPFL services.
