BRIDGE is a joint programme conducted by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI). It offers new funding schemes at the intersection of basic research and science-based innovation, thereby supplementing the funding activities of the two organisations.

Young researchers are most welcome to participate in the events, where members of the BRIDGE Steering Committee and of the evaluation panel will provide an overview of the funding options offered under the BRIDGE programme. They will also talk about their initial experiences with the Proof of Concept funding line and explain the submission of proposals and potential award of funding through BRIDGE. This will be followed by a buffet lunch, the perfect opportunity to discuss specific points in greater detail. In particular, we look forward to welcoming researchers from the humanities and social sciences and from the universities of applied sciences.

The events will mostly take place over lunch. Attendance is free. As there is only a limited number of places, it is advisable to register early at http://bridge.ch/tour-de-bridge. You will also find more detailed information about BRIDGE at this site.
