Aim: The CF Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, offering awards for cystic fibrosis research and for professional development and training.

- Research Grant: Supporting basic science research that will provide new insights that contribute to the understanding of the basic etiology and pathogenesis of cystic fibrosis. Funding up to $140K/year for 2 years.
- Pilot and Feasibility Award: Supporting basic science research studies focused on developing and testing new hypotheses in areas relevant to cystic fibrosis. Funding up to $50K/year for 2 years.
- Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Award: To support (non-Path to a Cure related) postdoctoral research training related to cystic fibrosis. Funding up to $76K/year over 2 years.
- Postdoc-to-Faculty Transition Award: To support postdoctoral research fellows pursuing non-Path-to-Cure-related research during their fellowship and aid in their transition to an independent research faculty position. Funding up to $110K/year for 3-5 years.
