DESCRIPTION:Giuseppe Micciarelli\nThis week we are glad to annouce the lec
 ture of Giuseppe Micciarelli\, for the Series Commons and Multitude within
  Superstudio. Micciarelli will talk about the juridical and spatial practi
 ces for the institutionalization of some experiences of Commons\, through 
 interesting examples of occupations and organizations from the city of Nap
 les. His lecture will be moderated by Massimo De Angelis. \n \nGiuseppe 
 Micciarelli is a political philosopher and legal sociologist (University o
 f Salerno). He is the author of essays and articles on the themes of democ
 racy in transformation\, institutional theory\, global governance and soci

 \n\nIn July 2019\, he was awarded the Elinor Ostrom Award\, the most prest
 igious award in the field of the defence and management of the commons. W
 ith his research supports numerous groups\, networks\, associations\, and
  local administrations for the creation and implementation of new particip
 atory institutions. He has been the president of the Commons\, participato
 ry democracy and fundamental rights of the city of Naples. He collaborates
  with several academic networks (such as the international think tank “I
 nstitute of Radical Imagination”) and institutions\, as a consultant o
 n local governance and participatory tools.
