 er.\n\nPeeing in Public\nThe performance Peeing in Public reflects on th
 e need of peeing and the precarious situations that occur when no toilet i
 s around and we are forced to improvise in public. The question of when\,
  where and how to pee has been a preoccupation for all of us and\, most i
 mportantly\, since long ago. Together with his invited guests Rembrandt v
 an Rijn\, Samantha Fountain\, George Jennings\, Brae Carns\, Ira Gessel\, 
 David Busch\, Greg Kotis\, Xi Jinping\, and Emperor Vespasian\, Thomas Ge
 iger roams through the centuries and elaborates on the economical\, (gend
 er-)political\, technological\, and sexual dimensions of peeing in public.
  \n\nAbout\nThomas Geiger (b. 1983 in Germany) is an interdisciplinary ar
 tist based in Vienna. His works operate at the intersection of public and
  private/institutional space\, where Geiger creates points of contact with
  various forms of the public sphere. In recent years\, he has realized pr
 ojects with the Freiburg Biennale (2021)\, Kunsthalle Wien (2020)\, Wiene
 r Festwochen (2020)\, steirischer herbst (2019 & 2020)\, Ausstellungsraum
