DESCRIPTION:The Federal Council has mandated the SNSF to launch a call for
  the National Research Programme "Covid-19 in Society" (NRP 80).\n\nThe ov
 erall goal of NRP 80 is to provide evidence-based guidance and action know
 ledge to policy makers and relevant institutions and organisations to supp
 ort the best possible management of the Covid-19 pandemic\, but also of fu
 ture pandemics in Switzerland. The programme sets out to provide valuable 
 insights regarding all societal dimensions\, processes and measures for ha
 ndling pandemics and for supporting a sustainable societal development in 
 the face of such global risks. NRP 80 focuses on the situation in Switzerl
 and from social sciences and humanities perspectives within the global soc
 ietal and academic context.\n\nThe call targets research in three intercon
 nected modules:\n\n	Supporting responsible human behaviour\n	Supporting in
 dividual and collective welfare\n	Supporting crisis management and lasting
  change.\n\n\nProjects may not only address questions related to one modul
 e but may also have a bearing on the thematic clusters listed in other mod
 ules. The NRP will strengthen synergies and ensure close coordination betw
 een projects from different modules.\n\nFunding: CHF 300K – 500K but bud
 gets below or above this range are possible if sufficiently justified.\n\n
 Duration: 36 months starting December 2022 (earliest starting date).\n\nDe
