DESCRIPTION:Andreas Faoro\nWe are glad to host at Superstudio for the seri
 es Habitat & Environment Andreas Faoro\, who will present some of the mo
 st interesting and important projects of office UNLAB\, on the question of
  the "limit"\, a fundamental question related to the topic of the Forum\, 
 one of the design themes of Superstudio. \n\nAndreas Faoro is  an  ar
 chitect  and  urban  planner.  After  graduating  at  the 
  IUAV  University  of   Architecture  of  Venice\,  he  ob
 tained  a  Postgraduate  Master  degree  in  Architecture  a
 nd   Urbanism  at  the  Berlage  Institute  in  Rotterdam.
   His theoretical  and  practical  work  focuses   on  the
   relationship  between\,  politics\,  economy  and  large sca
 le  urban  design\, exploring  the   disputed\,  conflicting 
  and  often  paradoxical  transformation  of  cities  and  
 urban   environments.  \n\nUNLAB is an international office devoted t
 o architecture. It is established in Rotterdam (NL)\, with branches in Ven
 ice (IT) and Tirana (AL) founded in 2008 and led by Andreas Faoro. Since t
 hen\, Francesca Rizzetto joined the office working in partnership on many 
 projects. UNLAB deliberately works exploring and investigating historical 
 knowledge produced by the past\, leading to a continuous scanning of the w
 orld that surrounds us.\n\nThe firm works internationally on projects rang
 ing from interior design\, residential\, commercial\, mixed-use private\, 
 public buildings\, and masterplans. \n\nUNLAB operates within the contemp
 orary art and architecture realm and has collaborated with different offic
 es: Grimshaw (UK)\, XDGA (BE)\, Stefano Boeri Architetti (IT)\, MGM Arquit
 ectos (ES)\, IND (NL)\, studio eu (DE)\, Lucy HORTA (FR)\, Maria Papadimit
 riou (GR)\, Carsten Nicolai (DE)\, Crimson – Wouter Vanstiphout (NL) and
  public institutions such as TU/Delft\, T?F The Why Factory\, IUAV Istitut
 o Universitario di Architettura Venezia\, Berlage Institute\, Politecnico 
 di Milano\, MDA\, Domus Academy\, Polytechnic University of Tirana – 
 Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism\, Iowa State University College of De
 sign\, USI -Università della Svizzera Italiana.\n
