  speakers \n\nAnastasia Ailamaki is a Professor of Computer Sciences at EP
 FL in Switzerland and the co-founder of RAW Labs SA\, a swiss company dev
 eloping real-time analytics infrastructures for heterogeneous big data. He
 r research interests are in data-intensive systems and applications\, and 
 in particular: (a) in strengthening the interaction between the database s
 oftware and emerging hardware and I/O devices\, and (b) in automating dat
 a management to support computationally- demanding\, data-intensive scient
 ific applications. \nAmin Shokrollahi is a Professor Emeritus at EPFL\, h
 e is the co-inventor of Tornado codes\, and the inventor of Raptor codes. 
 His codes have been standardized and successfully deployed in practical ar
 eas dealing with data transmission over lossy networks. Currently he is Fo
 under and CEO of Kandou S.A.\, an innovative leader in high-speed and ene
 rgy efficient chip-chip link solutions revolutionizing the electronics ind
 ustry.
