DESCRIPTION:The State Secretariat for Education\, Research and Innovation 
 (SERI) has commissioned Swiss TPH with support from the University of Base
 l as Leading House for bilateral collaboration with partner institutions i
 n Africa. The Leading House Africa (LH) opened a call for Lectureships and
  Prolonged Research Stays at African Higher Education Institutions for Res
 earch Groups of Swiss Higher Education Institutions.\n\nThe goal of this i
 nstrument is to promote research cooperation between Swiss and African Hig
 her Education Institutions\, geared towards the implementation of the UN 2
 030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the African Union’s Agenda 20
 63.\n\nWho can apply: \n\n	Senior researchers (research team/group leader 
 or senior researcher/lecturer) of Swiss federal and cantonal universities\
 , universities of applied sciences\, universities of teacher education\, a
 s well as public research institutions.\n	The Lead PI must be employed at 
 one of the aforementioned Swiss institutions.\n	Eligible Partner: Research
 er of an African Higher Education Institution from all African countries\,
  except Maghreb region and Egypt\n\n\nFunding: up to CHF 50’000\n\nDurat
 ion: up to 6 months\n\nEligible costs: personnel (max 20% of the total bud
 get)\, travel\, accommodation\, conferences and meetings\, project consuma
 bles and equipment. Does NOT cover overheads costs.\n\nCall timeline:\n\n\
