DESCRIPTION:Personalized Health and Related Technologies (PHRT) is a strat
 egic focus area of the ETH Domain aiming to support and drive transformati
 on in Personalized Health by providing clinicians with access to ETH techn
 ologies in order to evaluate their potential contributions to clinical dec
 ision making. The goals of the program include improving the quality of Pr
 ecision Medicine by supporting earlier and better diagnosis as well as pro
 viding a choice of tailored therapeutic strategies for patients based on t
 heir particular biological makeup and other individual factors. PHRT conne
 cts hospitals and the institutions of the ETH Domain so that they can shar
 e and use health data across Switzerland.\n\nWith its 7th call for proposa
 ls\, PHRT invites applicants to team up with partners at a clinical instit
 ution to submit proposals for:\n \n\n	Interdisciplinary doctoral\, so-cal
 led iDoc Projects \n	Interdisciplinary postdoc\, so-called iPostdoc Projec
 ts\n	Technology Translation Projects\, so-called TT Projects\n	Research Pr
 ojects\n	Imaging Projects being part of the PHRT Imaging Hub\n\n\nResearch
 ers and consortia of scientists from all ETH Domain institutions are encou
 raged to apply. Applicants are encouraged to submit project proposals that
  collaborate with hospitals and clinics.\n\nWho can apply:\n \n\n	All sci
 entists with a doctoral degree (postdocs only for iPostdoc Projects) emplo
 yed by an institution of the ETH Domain\, i.e. faculty members and senior 
 researchers employed at Empa\, EPFL\, ETHZ\, PSI\, Eawag or WSL.\n	Collabo
 ration with “non-ETH Domain” research and/or clinical groups from univ
 ersities\, university hospitals and clinical institutions is highly recomm
 ended and desired. However\, PHRT funds can only be received from research
 ers of the ETH Domain.\n	Proposals that bridge PHRT and SDSC or PHRT and S
 PHN\, forming consortia with scientists\, engineers and clinicians\, are p
 articularly welcome.\n\n\nFunding: A total of up to CHF 20 million is made
  available for this 7th call for proposals. Projects can use funding until
  no longer than December 2025.\n\n\n	For iDoc Projects: Salary for 36 mont
 hs + up to CHF 10’000 per year for consumables on request. PHRT plans to
  fund up to 6 doctoral students with this call.\n	For iPostdoc Projects: S
 alary for 24 months + up to CHF 10’000 per year for consumables on reque
 st. PHRT plans to fund up to 5 postdocs with this call.\n	For TT Projects:
  max CHF 750'000 for 24 months. PHRT plans to fund up to 5 projects with t
 his call.\n	For Research Projects: max CHF 2’000’000 for 36 months. PH
 RT plans to fund up to 5 projects with this call.\n\n\nSubmission process:
 \n\n\n	The PHRT proposals are to be submitted using the official templates
 \, which are available on the PHRT website\, consisting of three parts:\n\
 n	\n		Part 1: General information\n		Part 2: Scientific and technical info
 rmation\n		Part 3: Budget\n	\n	\n	The selection of the proposals will be p
 receded by a formal check by the PHRT office.\n	The interdisciplinary PHRT
  review panel is composed of up to 15 experts\, of which half are from ETH
  Domain institutions and the other are scientists and experts from other i
 nstitutions\, primarily international.\n\n\nSubmission deadline: 17 April
