DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The Data Science Collaborative Research Programme aims 
 to support synergistic research collaborations rooted in data science whic
 h: \n\n	lead to new or improved core data science algorithms\, methods an
 d technologies\, and/or\n	explore and expand data science applications to 
 real-world scientific problems within the scope of the NNF Data Science In
 itiative.\n\n\nThe ideal projects will bring together data scientists and 
 “domain-experts” in other scientific fields (like medicine\, biology\,
  plant science\, biotechnology\, physics\, chemistry\, etc.) or involve co
 llaborations between different data science research groups in a synergist
 ic effort to solve important scientific problems.\n\nFunding:       m
 ax. DKK 25M\n\nDuration:      4-5  years\n\nEligibility: Excellent s
 cientists from different research departments – that of the main applica
 nt and up to three others – are encouraged to apply. The number of co-ap
 plicants can be up to 5. The collaborations can be across institutions and
  national borders but have to involve at least one Danish-based data scien
 ce group.\n\nHow to Apply: Applications should be submitted using the foun
 dation’s online platform NORMA. The application process consists of two 
 phases. Phase 1 entails a short expression of interest limited to 10\,000 
 characters\, with a deadline of 15 March 2022. Several shortlisted applica
 nts will be invited to Phase 2 (notifications in June 2022)\, in which the
  applicants will be asked to submit an application with a detailed project
  proposal of 30\,000 characters. These full proposals will be due in Augus
