 ectives\n\n	How could you feel more competent\, worthy\, valuable\, and ca
 pable of doing things? What would enable you to address adversity with cal
 m and resolve?\n	How could you create conditions around you that would fos
 ter your ideas and projects?\n	How could you develop courage to fight for 
 what is important to you and to say No to what is not?\n\nAlthough these q
 uestions seem very personal\, they are actually widely shared and universa
 l. Most people have doubts and struggle at times with their self-image\, s
 elfacceptance and confidence. Research shows consistently\, that developin
 g these aspects is highly correlated to coping with life challenges\, and 
 emotional well-being.\nThis workshop is designed to help you identify ways
  to foster positive self-image\, to transform limiting beliefs into self-c
 ompassion\, and to increase your “power to act”.\n \nApproach\nThroug
 h experience sharing\, discovery of tools like cultivating self-care and m
 indfulness\, as well as via the analysis of concrete situations\, each par
 ticipant will be able to make another step on her/his path of professional
  and personal growth.\n \nDuration\n2 consecutive days (May 18 + 19) + ha

 icipation fee \nParticipation is free for members of partner institutions.
  Registration is done online and opens 6 weeks before the course begins.\n
 The REGARD programme is addressed to young female academics of the next ge
 neration and for women professors of the universities of French-speaking S
 witzerland\, HES-SO and EPFL. The REGARD programme is organized by the gen
 der equality offices those institutions.  \nThe objective of the REGARD p
 rogram is to develop skills and offer concrete tools for career management
  and supervision. These workshops also create spaces for discussion and ex
 change of experiences among researchers. They also aim to increase awarene
 ss of gender equality issues in academic careers.
