DESCRIPTION:Established in Zurich in 1981\, the Walder Stiftung supports p
 rojects dealing with the theme of “living in old age” in the following
  three funding areas:\n \n\n	Applied research: projects of applied resear
 ch in the field of "living in old age". The object of research must be inn
 ovation-oriented\, should go beyond existing practical knowledge and be di
 rectly usable in practice.\n	Social and cultural: projects\, which contrib
 ute to an optimal quality of life and living for all elderly and old peopl
 e and support the preservation of independence and freedom of choice.\n	Co
 nstruction projects: projects that have a groundbreaking effect on their e
 nvironment and region. Projects that set new trends for their users and th
