DESCRIPTION:AIM: This FOA targets technology developments that will provid
 e significant improvements in drilling performance in commercial geotherma
 l settings. The ultimate goal is a reduction in geothermal well costs. Imp
 rovement of 25% in geothermal drilling rates is expected.\nThe EERE is see
 king to support multiple demonstration projects that each target this leve
 l of improvement. Teaming arrangements are strongly encouraged from drilli
 ng services providers\, well service companies\, research institutions\, g
 eothermal operators\, developers or others.\n\nDEADLINE: Letters of intent
  are due by April 4\, full applications are due June 3. \n\nELIGIBILITY: 
 EPFL researchers are eligible to participate as subawardee or as a prime i
