 arieties over non-archimedean fields based on Hrushovski-Loeser spaces. Af
 ter informally framing our main results with respect to classical statemen
 ts (first 30 min)\, I will discuss some details of our construction and th
 e main difficulties arising in this new context. If time allows\, I will f
 urther explain how our results allow us to recover results of V. Berkovich
  on the sheaf cohomology of the analytification of an algebraic variety ov
 er a rank 1 complete non-archimedean field. This is a joint work with Már
 io Edmundo and Jinhe Ye.
