DESCRIPTION:The call SNSF Starting Grant 2026 will open on 1 February 2026
 \, with a deadline for submission on 5 May 2026. \n\nThis call will enable
  researchers to lead an independent project and a team in Switzerland.\n\n
 Funding: Max. CHF 1M + applicant's salary\, for max. 5 years.\n\n	Status: 
 Applicants who do not already hold a Professorship at the submission will 
 obtain\, in case of award\, a non-tenured Assistant Professor title lastin
 g for the duration of the project.\n	Eligibility:\n	\n		EPFL conditions: i
 n the 2026 call\, EPFL will only support internal applicants.\n		SNSF con
 ditions:\n		\n			max. 8 years after PhD + min. 2 years of research post Ph
 D on 1 February 2026.\n			Swiss link (min. 2 years of research in CH on 5 
 May 2026 or CH nationality or CH degree)\n			Resubmission and parallel app
