DESCRIPTION:The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) Fellowsh
 ips enable early-career researchers to join a project team from another co
 untry\, opening up new opportunities and often creating partnerships that 
 last many years and over many Antarctic research seasons. Topics for suppo
 rt should link to the objectives of one or more of SCAR’s science groups
 \, including the Humanities and Social Sciences group\, and/or the current
  Scientific Research Programmes endorsed by SCAR (visit SCAR's science an
 d research pages for details of SCAR's groups). \n\nFunding:      
  $15\,000\n\nDuration:      One year\n\nEligibility: Applicants must 
 be current PhD researchers or within 5 years of finishing their PhD. They 
 should aim to visit a facility in or run by a SCAR member country\, which 
 is different from applicant’s (a) country of origin and (b) current coun
 try of residence.\n\nHow to Apply: In order to apply for a fellowship\, ca
 ndidates will be required to first contact and liaise with appropriate hos
 t Antarctic projects or programmes in order to secure the support and ment
 orship of an active team. Once such a link has been established\, an appli
 cation can be prepared\, which should include:\n\n	Research Proposal\n	Hom
 e institute Agreement and Reference\n	Host Institute Agreement\n	Online Ap
