DESCRIPTION:BRIDGE is a joint programme conducted by the Swiss National Sc
 ience Foundation (SNSF) and Innosuisse\, the Swiss Innovation Agency. It o
 ffers new funding opportunities at the intersection of basic research and 
 science-based innovation\, thereby supplementing the funding activities of
  the two organisations.\n\nBRIDGE Proof of Concept projects support young 
 researchers (see eligibility criteria on the website) who aim to develop a
 n application or service based on their own research findings. These proje
 cts may feature any type of innovation or research field.\n\nBRIDGE is lau
 nching a special call in June 2022 exclusively for applicants with a Bache
 lor’s or a Master’s degree. Approximately 1 million francs have been m
 ade available for the call.\n\nSubmission deadline: \n\n	5 September 2022\
 , 17:00 Swiss local time\n\n\nGeneral information about the BRIDGE PoC:\n\
 nFunding: Max. CHF 130\,000 per year. It covers salary and costs that are 
 directly linked to the execution of the project\n\nDuration: 12 months. It
  may be extended once for a maximum of six months.\n\nApplicants must cont
