 \n\nIn this talk\, I will describe soliton resolution results obtained in 
 the last ten years on radial critical wave equations in works with C. Keni
 g and F. Merle\, and also more recently with the same authors\, C. Collot 
 and Y. Martel. I will also explain ideas of proofs\, insisting on the chan
 nels of energy method which is one of the main new tools of these proofs.\
