DESCRIPTION:The Swiss Sanfilippo Foundation is renewing a call for proposa
 ls to support research projects focusing on a therapeutic approach for San
 filippo syndrome (MPS III). Proposals that offer an innovative approach wi
 ll receive special attention.\n\nIn addition to the currently funded progr
 ammes\, the Foundation intends to support the development of new projects 
 in the fields of stem cells\, genetic engineering\, blood-brain barrier cr
 ossing products\, enzyme therapy\, molecular chaperones and substrate redu
 ction therapies as well as the repurposing of existing drugs.\n\nIn the fr
 amework of this call for proposals\, particular attention will be paid to 
 projects proposing an innovative therapeutic approach. Projects developed
