DESCRIPTION:The Sony Research Award Program supports cutting-edge academic
  research and helps build a collaborative relationship between Sony resear
 chers and faculty in 17 European countries (including Switzerland)\, U.S.\
 , Canada and India.\n\nThe aim of the program is to create new opportuniti
 es for university faculties and research institutions to engage in pioneer
 ing research that could drive new technologies\, industries and the future
 .\n\nCheck out Sony’s areas of interest in the call guidelines.\n\nWho c
 an apply: full-time professors (adjunct professors are not eligible) or re
 searchers who are eligible to supervise PhD students.\n\nFunding: up to US
 D 150K for 1 year\, with a possible extension\, covering all associated ex
 penses and fees.\n\nImportant info for EPFL researchers:\n\n	Include 40% o
 verhead in the budget\;\n	The proposal should NOT contain any confidential
