DESCRIPTION:Since Switzerland remains for the moment not-associated to Hor
 izon Europe\, the 'SNSF Advanced Grants 2022' is aimed at researchers who 
 intended to apply for an ERC Advanced Grant. Scientists of any nationalit
 y who want to pursue innovative\, ground-breaking\, high-risk / high-gain 
 research in Switzerland can apply for an SNSF Advanced Grant.\n\nSNSF Adva
 nced Grants are awarded up to a maximum of CHF 2.175 million for a period 
 of up to 5 years (without 15% overhead\, which are paid directly to the ho
 st institution). Additional funding up to CHF 870'000 (without 15% overhea
 d) may be requested under certain conditions.\n\nDEADLINE: Applicants must
  pre-register by 1 October 2022 and provide the following information via 
 mySNF (www.mysnf.ch): Summary of the application\, host institution\, disc
 iplines and keywords. The application deadline is 2 November 2022.\n\nELIG
 IBILITY: The scheme is open to all disciplines and topics. Applicants must
  have a track record of outstanding research over the past ten years and m
 ust be recognised as leaders in their field.\nImportant note: Applicants w
 hose projects were rejected in the first step of evaluation for the SNSF A
 dvanced Grants 2021 call are not eligible to take part in the SNSF Advance
