 o-ecological futures?\n\nIn this talk I will explore how the lives of plan
 ts\, animals and people have been incorporated in the spaces of agricultur
 al production in the Netherlands. We will engage with tensions between cow
 s and robots\, between greenhouse horticulture and bumblebees\, and betwee
 n agro-ecology and automation. Drawing on these examples we will explore t
 he key spatial and social implications of particular emerging technologies
 . And we will have a conversation on how to make more-than-human futures i
 n which humans are not the only ones ‘designing’.\n\ndr ir Clemens Dri
 essen\, Assistant Prof of Cultural Geography\, Wageningen University (NL)\
 nClemens Driessen is a more-than-human geographer (formerly philosopher) a
 t Wageningen University\, in the Netherlands. He is interested in the ways
  in which animals\, plants\, humans and other organisms shape each other i
 n our contemporary technological cultures. Often in collaboration with des
 igners\, conservationists\, farmers\, scientists and the occasional willin
 g nonhuman\, he studies new ways of designing multispecies worlds. After e
 arlier work on milking robots\, playing video games with pigs\, cultured m
 eat\, rewilding and the environment of Rene Descartes\, he currently works
  on greenhouse horticulture\, agroecological robots\, and beavers.\n\n****
