DESCRIPTION:Visium x Data Analytics Group\nDAG is excited to announce the 
 first event of the semester\, co-organised with Visium\, an AI solutions c
 ompany based in Lausanne and Zürich and an EPFL spin-off.\n“Catalyzing 
 Change in Industry with AI” focuses on illustrating how data and ML can 
 be leveraged in industry\, to accelerate the development of solutions and 
 help businesses adopt the latest cutting-edge tools. \nKeynote speakers w
 ill aim to answer questions such as how to make AI more transparent in tra
 ditionally closed sectors? How to capture meaningful insights for clients?
  How to reapply classic graph ML across sectors\, from healthcare to busin
 ess recommendations?\nCrucial aspects such as AI explainability and respon
 sibility will be addressed on topics ranging from fraud detection to medic
 al care.\n \nWe will be joined by senior machine learning engineers\, Jim
 i Vaubien and Thibault Calvayrac\,  as well as Kamil Seghrouchni\, a rece
 nt EPFL graduate who joined Visium as junior during his Master's Thesis. T
 heir passion for AI democratization and domain expertise are a unique oppo
 rtunity to gain insights on data science in industry. \n\nThe event will 
 take place on Tuesday 18th October at 6PM in SV 1717. Presentations will b
 e followed by a Q&A session and an apéro-buffet. \nPlaces are limited\,
