CATEGORIES:Call for proposal
DESCRIPTION:The CETPartnership is a multilateral and strategic partnership
of national and regional research\, development and innovation (RDI) prog
rammes in European Member States and Associated Countries aiming to boost
and accelerate the energy transition and to support the implementation of
the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan).\n\nThe CETP aims
to contribute to the EU’s goal of becoming the first climate-neutral co
ntinent by 2050\, by pooling national and regional RDTI funding for a broa
d variety of technologies and system solutions required to make the transi
tion. In that sense\, the CETP establishes seven Transition Initiatives (T
RIs) in order to work together on:\n\n	organising target group oriented st
akeholder management and communication in the field\;\n	developing themati
c modules for the annual joint calls\;\n	implementing accompanying activit
ies on knowledge management and maximising impact.\n\nThe TRIs are so-call
ed thematic configurations of CETPartnership funding partners whose aim is
to collaborate on a specific Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SR
IA) Challenge. The CETPartnership has established 7 TRIs:\n\n\n	TRI 1: Int
egrated net-zero-emissions energy system\n	TRI 2: Enhanced zero emission p
ower technologies\n	TRI 3: Enabling climate neutrality with storage techno
logies\, renewable fuels and CCS (carbon capture and storage) and CCU (car
bon capture and utilization)\n	TRI 4: Efficient zero emission heating and
cooling solutions\n	TRI 5: Integrated regional energy systems\n	TRI 6: Int
egrated industrial energy systems\n	TRI 7: Integration in the built enviro
nment.\n\nSwitzerland being an Associated Country\, the Swiss Federal Offi
ce of Energy (SFOE) and the Swiss Science National Foundation (SNSF) joine
d the CETP. While SFOE participates in TRIs 1-4 and 6\, SNSF covers TRIs 5
and 7.\n\nSFOE Participation:\nSFOE will fund successful Swiss proposals
to a total of 10 million Euros through its Pilot and Demonstration (P+D) p
rogramme. Thus\, the terms and conditions of the P+D programme as well as
of this specific call apply.\n\nSFOE eligibility criteria:\n\n\n	This call
is addressed to organizations such as private companies\, industry organi
zations\, universities of applied sciences\, universities\, the ETH domain
\, public institutions (e.g. cantons) and NGOs. To be eligible at the CETP
level\, applicants are referred to the CETP call text and the call module
s.\n	National requirements have to be fulfilled (Art. 49 EnG and Art. 54 E

(Subject: "CETP Call full proposal") by 20 March 2023.\n\n\nSNSF Partici
pation:\nSNSF (page 210) will fund successful Swiss proposals to a total o
f 550’00 Euros/year. Anticipated number of projects to be funded is up t
o 2 projects. there is no maximum contribution set per project for the Swi
ss part. Nevertheless\, budgets of a collaborative research project must b
e balanced and the SNSF expects that applicants carefully consider the bud
getary request in a relation to the effective needs of the project.\n\nSNS
F eligibility criteria and costs:\n\n\n	Applications must comply with the
