CATEGORIES:Call for proposal
DESCRIPTION:The ETH Domain Open Research Data (ORD) Program consists of 5
measures to foster and improve ORD practices with the broader aim of advan
cing Open Science among ETH Domain researchers and institutions. The overa
ll aim of the first measure of the ETH-Domain’s ORD Program is to suppor
t researchers engaging in or developing ORD practices with and for their c
ommunity(-ies) and to assist these researchers in becoming Open Science le
aders in their field(s). The calls for proposals are organised along three
different tracks: Contribute\, Explore and Establish projects.\n\nThe ETH
Domain is now launching the 3rd Contribute call for applications.\n\nCont
ribute projects \nFunding for “contribute projects” aims at:\n\n	Contr
 ibuting a piece of software\, data\, hardware\, etc.\, which simplifies an
established ORD practice\, develops its research potential\, or otherwise
improves it.\n\n\n\n	Curating or otherwise improving available ORD\, for
example\, by updating existing data to adapt it to the evolution of ORD pr
actices or by linking different ORD datasets or by collecting and curating
existing data before uploading it to an ORD platform.\n\n\n\n	Providing c
ommunity services\, such as the organization of a workshop or training\, o
r coordination for the development of an ORD standard.\n\nFunding is avail
able for projects of up to 12 months with an overall budget that must be C
HF 30’000.\n\nApplications can be received from the six ETH Domain insti
