 d fellowships to ten PhD students working on various aspects of data scien
 ce theory and methods at EPFL and ETH Zürich\, from statistics to compute
 r vision\, including machine learning\, statistical signal processing\, an
 d natural language processing.\n\nWe are pleased to organize a workshop pr
 oviding a forum of exchange on methods in data science and an opportunity 
 for five of these fellows to present their work in person.\n\nWe would als
 o like to like to invite any EPFL PhD students and postdocs working in var
 ious areas of methods of data science to present a poster in the afternoon
  poster session (registration is necessary). \n\nOn that occasion\, we wi
 ll be happy to communicate the new list of PhD students who received the s
