DESCRIPTION:Due to Switzerland’s current status as a non-associated thir
 d country in Horizon Europe\, the Swiss government has mandated the SNSF t
 o launch the SNSF Starting Grants 2023. Applicants can request a budget of
  up to CHF 1.8 million for a period of five years. This funding scheme rep
 laces the ERC Starting Grants 2023 and the SNSF Professorial Fellowships 2
 023.\n\nDEADLINE: 1 February 2023\n\nELIGIBILITY: The scheme is open to al
 l disciplines and topics for postdocs and professors. Applicants must have
  achieved scientific independence and contributed to impactful research. A
 pplicants must be between 2 and 8 years after their PhD defence or equival
 ent or between 5 and 12 years after their medical degree.\n\nHOW TO APPLY:
