 , Aalto University \n\nKirsi Peltonen is Senior Lecturer in the Department
  of Mathematics and Systems Analysis at Aalto University and Adjunct Profe
 ssor at the University of Helsinki. She is director of the Math and Arts p
 rogram at Aalto University\, whose transdisciplinary courses lie at the in
 tersection of mathematics\, visual arts\, design and architecture. These c
 ourses are open to students in all levels of education\, from schools with
 in Aalto University and other universities in Finland\, as well as to scho
 ol teachers. Her student's work has been exhibited at the Heureka Science 
 Centre\, the Espoo Cultural Centre\, and FutureLab Shanghai. She has given
  talks at the 2016 Bridges Conference (Jyväskylä\, Finland)\, at the 201
 7 Geometry Labs United Conference (Seattle)\, and at the 2018 Internationa
 l Congress of Mathematicians. She was the chair of the organizing committe
 e for the 2022 Bridges Conference (Aalto University\, Finland). In 2018 sh
 e was recognized by the Finnish Mathematical Society for her efforts to sy
 nthesize math\, art\, design and architecture through these courses.  \nT
 his is a talk for a general academic audience interested in possibilities 
 for enhancing contemporary mathematics to interact with arts\, design and 
 architecture. I will discuss on the needs for this dialogue in different l
 evels of education\, research and broader in the society.  Our recent int
 erdisciplinary activities challenging the traditions and communication of 
 mathematics\, arts\, design\, and architecture at Aalto University in Finl
 and have given a new type of platform to share the beauty of mathematics s
 ystematically and open accessible layers to a useful interplay.  Many out
 comes and byproducts of these up-to-date experiments are perfect for appli
 cations in digital technologies such as programming\, CAD\, 3D printing\, 
 virtual and augmented reality.  Some scenarios for the future development
  will be  presented.\n
