  Atlas of landscapes\nWalks and Positions\n\nThe Habitat Research Center h
 as been selected to carry out the Atlas de paysages de la Ville de Paris\,
  as a proposed research-action questioning both the tools and stakes of te
 rritorial representations in the context of the socio-ecological Transitio
 n. From this perspective\, a first study moment is organised in Paris\, in
  the intersected frameworks of the Transition Studio MAS ETH EPFL UTD work
 shop and HRC working team associated with the research mandate. These days
  on site are an opportunity for a double confrontation of it: with the ter
 ritory itself\, and with the positions of those who know it\, study it and
  work with it\, particularly within the parisian schools of architecture a
 nd landscape architecture. It is a “tour des écoles” starting with th
 e question “What is (are) the Parisian landscape(s)?”\, a red thread\,
  successively asked on different occasions. Documented and accompanied wal
 ks will punctuate these moments of exchange on the methods\, attitudes and
  issues to be mobilised within the cartographic and extra-cartographic exe
 rcise of building a new atlas.\n\nThis event anticipates others to follow.
  Among them\, “Les conversations de l’Atlas”\, to be organised in co
 ordination with the CAUE75\, will be the occasion of additional moments\, 
 including both academic and public debates\, based on and in continuity wi
