DESCRIPTION:After a two-year pilot phase\, SNSF Spark is back to stay!\nSN
 SF Spark aims at supporting the rapid testing or development of novel and 
 unconventional scientific approaches\, methods\, theories\, standards and 
 ideas in any disciplines. The focus is on promising ideas of high original
 ity for which preliminary data are not necessarily available (high-risk re
 search). Applicants can request a budget of Min. CHF 50’000 – Max. 100
 ’000 for 6-12 months.\n\nAnonymization of the project description\nPropo
 sals are evaluated in a double-blind process by members of an internationa
 l pool of experts. Read carefully how to anonymise your proposal in the EP
 FL Toolkit to avoid a dismissal by the SNSF!\n\nWho can apply?\n\n	If you 
 applied to the SNSF Spark 2019 or 2020 calls you ARE eligible!\n	If you ap
 ply now (SNSF Spark 2023 call)\, and you either get the grant or get rejec
 ted and rated among the weakest third of the proposals\, you cannot apply 
 again for the 4 subsequent calls.\n	Applicants at any career level holding
  a Doctorate (PhD or MD-PhD) or equivalent qualification.\n	Doctoral stude
 nts are eligible only if they have completed at least 3 years of research 
 work since obtaining their higher education degree and prior to commencing
  their doctorate.\n	The applicant must be employed (no minimum work quota 
 required) at a Swiss institution for the duration of the project.\n\nIf yo
 u request your salary\nApplicants who request that their own salary be fin
 anced fully or in part by this grant must enclose a written confirmation f
