 ndustry will be featured.\n\nFinal program here!\nEPFL’s School of Engi
 neering and Vice Presidency for Innovation are excited to announce the fif
 th edition of its Industry Day – and the first since COVID – to be hel
 d on Wednesday March 8th\, 2023 at the SwissTech Convention Center\, Lausa
 nne.\nThis event will bring academia and industry together to give PhD stu
 dents\, researchers\, professors and companies\nthe chance to meet and dis
 cover new opportunities and synergies.\nThe program will feature plenary p
 resentations from professors\, start-ups and success stories of industrial
  collaborations on four topics:\n\n- Energy and Materials \n- HealthTech 
 \n- Manufacturing and Robotics\n- Intelligent Systems\n\nA series of boot
 hs will exhibit current research projects from the School of Engineering a
 nd EPFL research centers.\n\nFinal program is online!\n\nA unique conver
 gence between research and industry\nThe event will include one-on-one mee
 tings and other networking opportunities for researchers and members of in
 dustry. Companies will discover firsthand the latest innovations coming ou
 t of EPFL labs and meet the researchers behind them\, while pitching their
  ideas and challenges to potential new collaborators. Researchers will hav
 e the opportunity to present their work\, foster industry partnerships\, a
 nd identify professional avenues for their students. For their part\, PhD 
 students and postdoctoral researchers will have the chance to discover cor
 porate R&D\, get insights from the forefront of industry and make connecti
 ons for their future careers. All participants will benefit from this uniq
 ue convergence of research\, innovation\, technology transfer\, and societ
