DESCRIPTION:Aim: The CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program support
 s qualified young scientists at leading universities and research centers 
 around the world. The Institute seeks hypothesis-driven\, mechanistic stud
 ies in both immunology and tumor immunology. The applicant and sponsor sho
 uld make every effort to demonstrate the potential of the proposed studies
  to directly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in can
 cer.\n\nDuration:      3 years\n\nFunding:       Year 1 - $55\,00
 0 stipend\n                        Year 2 - $57\,00
 0 stipend\n                        Year 3 - $59\,00
 0 stipend\n                        Each year - $5\,
 000 allowance for research or travel\n\nEligibility: Applicant must hold a
  doctorate degree by the date of award activation\, but have no more than 
 5 years postdoctoral experience. Must be sponsored by a senior researcher 
 with a formal appointment at the host institution. The fellowship can be p
 erformed in the United States or abroad\, but must take place at a non-pro
 fit institution. There are no citizenship restrictions.\n\nHow to Apply: P
