DESCRIPTION:Aim:  This is a Project Funding call. Researchers may submit 
 a Lead Agency application if there are no thematic overlaps with applicati
 ons under evaluation at the SNSF or with ongoing projects.  Swiss applica
 nts cannot simultaneously submit any further SNSF project funding applicat
 ions.\n\nAmount:  Costs are calculated on the basis of the relevant natio
 nal guidelines.\n\nDuration: 48 months maximum or as specified in the NSF 
 Program\n\nImportant Deadlines\nSNSF: \n\n	Proposal: 03 April (EOI 17 Feb
 ruary) & 02 October (EOI: 23 August)\n	\n		Expected to adhere to the resea
 rch areas\, funding limits\, and grant durations for the participating NSF
  programs and for the SNSF programs from which funding is sought. \n		As 
 details vary by NSF program\, U.S. Principal Investigators (PI) are encour
 aged to contact program directors of pertinent NSF programs for specific g
 uidance.\n		The full proposal should be submitted within 12 months of the 
 EOI being approved.  \n	\n	\n	Review Process: the review process will fo
 llow the same evaluation process as SNSF Project Funding process. \n	SNSF
  will be the Lead Agency in the first year and will accept proposals on th
 eir deadlines of April 3rd and October 2nd\, 2023.\n\nUSA-NSF:\n\n\n	Purpo
 se of EOI: The EOIs will be used to determine eligibility for the Lead Age
 ncy Opportunity.\n	The NSF will notify applicant 30 calendar days before p
 roposals are due.  \n	After approval by the NSF\, the full proposal can 
 be submitted to the Lead Agency.  \n	If the EOI has not been approved by
  NSF prior to submission of a full proposal\, the proposal may not be cons
 idered for evaluation (i.e.\, may be returned without review).\n\nEligibil
 ity\n\n\n	Eligibility of PIs to submit proposals is subject to each agency
 's respective eligibility rules and policies\, as spelled out in the NSF P
 roposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) and/or the NSF sol
 icitation to which a proposal will be submitted\, and SNSF’s regulations

 nt must submit an EOI describing the entire project to the NSF regardless
