DESCRIPTION:The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is hosting a webi
nar on how to apply for grants from the US National Institute of Health (N
IH) using their publicly available resources. The webinar is aimed at scie
ntists and research performing organizations in Switzerland. NIH offers at
tractive funding opportunities similar to those of the SNSF\, and many Swi
ss-based research organizations have competed for and been awarded NIH fun
ding (including 5 ongoing awards at EPFL). The webinar is a unique opportu
nity to get an overview of how to approach applying for funding from NIH a
nd what to consider when applying as a non-US researcher. It will also hel
p you navigate the NIH system. The aim is to enhance your understanding of
what is required for successful applications\, either from you directly o
r when you apply as a collaborator on a US research award for NIH funding.
