DESCRIPTION:The goal of the REPIC platform (Renewable Energy\, Energy & Re
 source Efficiency\, Promotion in International Cooperation) is to strength
 en and coordinate Swiss federal activities (by SECO\, SDC\, FOEN\, SFOE) o
 n renewable energies\, energy and resource efficiency within developing an
 d transitioning countries.\n\n\nProjects must facilitate the transfer of S
 wiss technology and know-how to meet local needs. The project must be in t
 he field of renewable energies and/or energy efficiency and/or resource ef
 ficiency (waste\, waste water and industrial processes).\n\n\nREPIC’s fi
 nancial contributions are primarily intended as complementary measures for
  the:\n\n	quality assurance of proposals\,\n	reduction of project transact
 ion costs in the international context\n	as seed funding for larger projec
 ts.\n\nREPIC can support projects in the following categories:\n\n\n	Pre-p
 rojects focused on implementation\n	Pilot projects (technical and economic
 )\n	Infrastructure Projects\n	Measures in favor of training and quality as
 surance\n	Establishment of market structures\n	Funding models\n	Events and
  activities related to information\n\nWho can apply:\n\n\n	The main applic
 ant must be based at a Swiss Organisation (e.g. institute\, business\, NGO
 ).\n	The project must involve local partner(s) in developing or transition
  countries. Countries benefitting from the Swiss contribution to EU enlarg
 ement are excluded.\n\nFunding: max. 150’000.\n\n\n	REPIC covers up to 5
 0% of the total budget. Both the main applicant and the local partner(s) a
 re expected to provide own contributions and/or other third party funding.
