DESCRIPTION:The Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) currently funds the coor
 dination offices of global research networks.\n\nThis call aims at support
 ing an additional research network for topic-specific interdisciplinary re
 search with a head office in Switzerland.\n\nThe call does NOT fund: resea
 rch-driven networks for direct research purposes\; participation in intern
 ational research institutions and financing of cost-intensive large-scale 
 facilities.\n\nRequirement to apply: the parent institution (Cantonal Swis
 s University\, ETH Domain\, including EPFL\, or Universities of Applied Sc
 iences) must be willing to host the research network for the entire durati
 on of the contract (responsible legal entity) and to contribute to it (e. 
 g. infrastructure\, staff\, cofinancing).\n\nEligible costs: funding can b
 e used for infrastructure costs\, but not for the applicants' salary.\n\nD
 uration: 12-36 months\n\nTimeline of the call:\n\n	Deadline for pre-propos
