DESCRIPTION:swissuniversities and the ETH Domain jointly organize the Swis
s Open Research Data Grants (CHORD) programme. The collaboration enables c
oherent and broad bottom-up support for ORD practices across disciplines a
nd higher education institutions in Switzerland\, thereby facilitating the
creation of synergies and complementarities.\nProject proposals that are
eligible for ETH Domain funding follow the ETH path and are thus evaluated
by the ETH Domain Evaluation Group. The decision-making body for these pr
oposals is the ETH Domain Steering Committee. Please see here for more inf
ormation about open calls in the ETH Domain path.\nTrack A: Explore projec
ts (3rd call)\n\n	Goal: this track encompasses early-phase exploration as
well as the testing and prototyping of a potential ORD practice. It allows
for engagement with a community without necessarily creating a final prod
uct. The objective is to help researchers explore if and how ORD practices
can be developed.\n	Budget: the total cost of the project (including matc
hing funds) must not exceed CHF 150\,000.\n	Duration: up to 12-18 months\,
max. until the end of 2024.\n	Deadline : 2 June 2023\n\n\nFor more infor
mation please see the swissuniversities website.\nApplication guidelines c
an be downloaded here.\nInstitutions eligible for funding are listed here.
