DESCRIPTION:The Swiss Research Foundation for Electricity and Mobile Commu
 nication (FSM) supports innovative research on EMF-technologies and associ
 ated electromagnetic fields focusing on short-\, medium- and long-term imp
 acts on health\, society\, and environment.\n\nIn 2023\, FSM will award a 
 total amount of CHF 100\,000 for research projects related to questions of
  acceptance of infrastructures in the field of electricity and mobile comm
 unications\, such as for example alpine photovoltaic plants\, charging sta
 tions for electric vehicles or base stations for mobile communications.\n\
 nWho can apply: Public and private research institutions and researchers c
 an apply for participation\, in Switzerland and abroad. See the past suppo
 rted projects here.\n\nEligible costs: personnel costs and extraordinary e
 xpenses for field investigations (equipment\, consumables\, expenses\, etc
 .). Standard equipment (office equipment\, laboratory apparatus) and congr
 ess travel expenses are not financed.\n\nProject outlines must be submitte
 d on the pre-proposal form. The outlines should be short\, ideally up to t
 wo A4 pages. They will be evaluated by the FSM scientific committee. The a
 pplicants of the selected outlines will then be asked to specify their app
 lications in a full proposal.\nDeadline for the pre-proposals: 11.08.2023.
