 osiums entitled: Perspectives on AI. These events aim to bring together ac
 ademia\, industry and policy makers to present their perspectives on artif
 icial intelligence\, in particular how we can leverage the power of AI to 
 address key societal and industrial challenges.\nIn this Perspectives on A
 I edition\, we will discuss emerging methods which are outside the traditi
 onal deep learning and statistics toolbox\, aiming to address these challe
 nges. Under the ethos of 'Doing more with less'\, invited speakers from ac
 ademia and industry will discuss how recent methodological developments in
  AI and statistical methods can address existing challenges and deliver ne
 w opportunities for making sense of an increasingly complex data landscape
 .\nThe event is targeted towards academics\, data scientists\, practitione
 rs and executives who need to make sense of complex\, heterogeneous and sm
 all data and it aims to discuss the following questions:\nWhat are the mos
 t promising methods for interpreting distributed and heterogeneous data/ev
 idence?\nHow can these methods address grand societal challenges such as e
 vidence-based policy making\, personalised healthcare and predicting the i
 mpact of environmental changes?\nWhat are the opportunities for creating v
 alue in strategic areas for Switzerland such as Healthcare and Finance?
